From Canelones, Uruguay to Florida

My motorcycle trip this time is from Canelones, Uruguay to Florida.

This is another short trip of about 50km.

I am leaving Canelones.

I quickly got onto the main road.

This time, I’ll be heading north along Highway 5, which continues all the way to Rivera.

I crossed the Santa Lucia River and entered Florida County.

I arrived at Peaje Mendoza very soon.

Since the motorbike ride is free, I’ll take the rightmost route.

I will continue on.

I have arrived in Florida.

I will now head towards the Centro.

This is the junction with Highway 56.

If we head west from here, we’ll reach the Centro area of ​​Florida.

I crossed the bridge…

This is the Centro area.

I’m heading towards the central square.

And I arrived at the square.

This trip was short, so I was able to drive with ease.

I almost got tricked by Google Maps along the way, but I had checked beforehand, so it wasn’t a problem.

The roads in Uruguay are generally easy to drive on, but the strong winds are a bit of a drawback.
