For this motorcycle trip, I traveled from Caxias do Sul to Passo Fundo in Brazil.

The distance is approximately 220 km.

I am departing from Caxias do Sul.

Unfortunately, it is drizzling today.

The Centro area has heavy traffic, so I proceed with caution.

I am heading west, passing through the city center.

Traffic in Brazil is heavy, so I can’t move as freely as I’d like, which makes me feel stressed.

Dense fog has developed near Veranópolis.

Combined with the rain, driving conditions will remain very poor for some time.

I am going through a prolonged period of endurance.

I’ve been driving for about three hours, so I’m going to refuel and take a break at the same time.

At Petrobras Grid, the price is R$6.29/L—about USD 1.20.

I am making a fresh start.

It took me about four hours after leaving Caxias do Sul to finally arrive in Passo Fundo.

I made my way through the city center…

I have arrived at Marechal Floriano Square, located in the center of the city.

The weather was my enemy on this trip.

Rio Grande do Sul has heavy traffic, so compared to neighboring countries, the actual process of getting around doesn’t seem to be particularly enjoyable for me.
