From Necochea to Mar del Plata in Argentina

My motorcycle trip this time is from Necochea to Mar del Plata in Argentina.

The distance is approximately 145 km.

I’m leaving Necochea.

When I crossed the Dardo Rocha Bridge…

That’s Quequén.

I’ll just leave the town…

I participated in RP88.

This time, I will simply proceed straight down this road.

The crosswind was surprisingly strong that day, so I couldn’t go very fast.

After driving for about an hour, I’ll head towards RP77.

Since I have some time this time, I’ll take a slightly longer route via Miramar.

The town of Miramar didn’t seem very lively.

I turn left at the end of the road, along the coast.

I will continue straight along the road.

And I entered Mar del Plata.

As I walked along for a while, I saw a cluster of high-rise apartment buildings.

It’s the biggest city I’ve seen since Santiago, Chile, so I’m excited!

I walk down the slope towards the beach.

I will leave the tourist attraction Torreón del Monje.

I continued straight ahead and arrived in front of the casino, a tourist attraction.

This time the distance was short, so I stopped in Miramar, which was about the same size as Necochea.

Mar del Plata is a large city, so riding a motorcycle there requires a bit of caution.

Also, I noticed something unusual around 3,000-4,000 RPM once I passed Quequén, so I’ll replace the spark plugs, which I didn’t do last time, and see how it goes.

The burn pattern of this plug seems fine, but I’ll check how it affects things during my next ride.

This means I’ve run out of spark plugs, so I’ll need to buy some when I go to Brazil next month.
