From Rio Branco, Uruguay, to Jaguarão, Brazil
For this motorcycle trip, I am traveling from Río Branco, Uruguay, to Jaguarão, Brazil.
I will be completing the exit procedures for Uruguay and the entry procedures for Brazil.

First, I will head to Uruguayan immigration.

Immigration is located at “Panda é tudo”—where the bus terminal is—just south of the area with the cluster of duty-free shops.

Since immigration is located further back, I park in front of the casino.

A bus terminal and immigration facilities are located further inside.

Immigration is to the right after I enter the building.
I also handle the vehicle procedures here at the same time.

Now that I’ve finished the procedures, I’m making my way through the city’s duty-free shopping area.

And here is the bridge on the national border.

You will enter Brazil halfway across the bridge.

I will continue straight ahead and head to the Brazilian police station.

And so, I have arrived.

Instructions on the procedure are posted at the front of the building.

There is Wi-Fi here, so we can scan the QR code and enter the information.
It makes things go more smoothly if we complete the declaration in advance and print it out.

That completes the entry and exit procedures for both me and the vehicle.
It would be much easier for us if the procedures for Uruguay and Brazil could be handled together, like at some other locations…
However, since few people pass through here, there may not be enough demand to justify that kind of setup.
