From Castro to Ancud in Chile
My motorcycle trip this time was from Castro to Ancud on Chiloé Island, Chile.
This is a journey of approximately 83km.

I’m leaving Castro

I cross the bridge into downtown Quellon.

From there, I continue along the road, with the scenery remaining unchanged.

There are occasional ups and downs here, but they are not as bad as the road from Quellon to Castro.

Even if I drove slowly, I got pretty close to Ancud within an hour.

I arrived in Ancud.
It’s a little foggy today.

I left the Castro and arrived at the Plaza de Armas in Ancud in about an hour and fifteen minutes.

My trip this time was short, so I was able to go slowly.
However, the only teller in Castro was very busy, so I couldn’t get my chain replaced there.
I was constantly worried about my stretched chain coming off, so I didn’t enjoy the trip very much.
There are no motorcycle repair shops in Ancud, so I’ll have to wait until my next stop, Osorno, to have my chain work its magic.

Approximately 1,600 km from Chile Chico
I’ve tightened the screws by over 2 cm, so it’s way past the red line.
200 more km to go.
The clutch pedal is in good condition.
