The sequel to clutch pedal problem 2
This time, the clutch pedal I ordered has arrived, so I will check it and install it.

I opened it.
Of course, the grooves are beautiful.

I will compare

This groove will prevent the pedal from sagging.
This seems to solve the problem.

I tried to transplant the rubber where the fingertips touch, but it wouldn’t come off so I cut it off.

I’ll fix this with glue

Protect it with rubber tape until it dries.

I waited about 30 minutes and then took it for a test drive.
Then…
That caused a problem.
When I pushed the pedal all the way in, it stayed in place, but when I moved it a little forward, it started to sag.
If I tightened the screw any further, it would break, so I had no choice but to use glue.

I filled the gap.
I waited overnight to check and test drive it, and it was securely fastened.
I only glued the front part, so if I wanted to remove it, I could just give it a jolt.
Well, I doubt I’d ever need to remove it, though.
