From Las Grutas to Puerto Madryn, Argentina

This motorcycle trip is from Las Grutas, Argentina, to Puerto Madryn.

The distance is approximately 260 km.

This area is notoriously windy, so I’ll be driving carefully.

I’m leaving Las Grutas

I’ll be on RN3 in about 5 minutes.

From here on, I will continue along this road.

I arrived at Sierra Grande in about an hour and a half.

I’ll stop here to fill up on gas.

I then continued on a relatively undistinguished road, passing through Rio Negro and entering Chubut province in about two hours.

Under the blue sky, I continue driving calmly.

Three hours have passed since I left, and Puerto Madryn is finally approaching.

I’ll stop by the signboard on the south side of the airport.

I walked down the hill and entered the city.

I continued on towards the central area.

I left Las Grutas and arrived at Plaza San Martin in about 3 hours and 15 minutes.

My trip this time was mostly straight south, but there were a lot of crosswinds, so I had to drive carefully.

I was surprised to see that there was less traffic than I expected.

Perhaps that’s why the roads here are kept in such good condition.
