From Valdivia, Chile to Puerto Montt
My motorcycle trip this time was from Valdivia, Chile to Puerto Montt.
It was about 210km.

I’m leaving Valdivia

It’s a straight road until I get onto Route 5.
It’s congested here because there’s only one lane in each direction.

I traveled about 47km in 45 minutes.
I’m heading to Puerto Montt, so I turn right and head south.

I soon arrived at the first toll booth, the Liberal Lateral toll booth in La Union.
I paid $1,100 here, or about USD1.27.

After about 15 minutes, I returned from Los Rios to Los Lagos.

After another 40 minutes or so, I arrived at the second toll booth, the Cuatro Vientos Troncal.
I paid $1,100 here too.
It was pretty crowded.

After another 30 minutes, I arrived at the last toll booth, the Puerto Montt Troncal Tollgate.
I paid $300 here, or about USD 0.35.
Note: To get to Puerto Montt, we need to stay in the left lane.

We cannot change lanes once we pass the toll booth.

After that, I head down the hill towards Centro.

And then I arrived at the Plaza de Armas

Unlike my last trip, this time the weather was sunny and I was able to make good progress.
For me, busy roads and single-lane roads are not my favorite.
