From Gobernador Gregores to Perito Moreno in Argentina

My motorcycle trip this time is from Gobernador Gregores in southern Argentina to Perito Moreno.

The distance is approximately 360km.

This is a windy Patagonian route, but it doesn’t seem to be particularly difficult.

I leave Gobernador Gregores

Again, the headwind is tough.

This road is unpaved and gravel roads in places, and there are many potholes.

I set off and passed through the checkpoint town of Bajo Caracoles about 2 hours and 40 minutes later.

The road from there was a landscape that wasn’t very typical of Santa Cruz.

And I arrived in Perito Moreno about four hours after leaving Gobernador Gregores.

While my trip this time wasn’t particularly difficult, the RN40 still required careful driving due to its many unpaved roads and potholes.

Fortunately, the wind wasn’t too strong that day, but we recommend avoiding driving on windy days.
