From Uspallata to San Rafael in Argentina

My motorcycle trip this time was from Uspallata to San Rafael.

This distance is about 300km.

I’m leaving Uspallata

This is a pleasant road

I’m going down the mountain path

I’ll arrive at the R40 intersection in about an hour and 15 minutes.

I’ll turn right here.

I’ve arrived in Tunuyán.

This town is quite prosperous.

I just leave and keep going straight

This is the final fork in the road.

I’ll keep going straight.

And I continue on my unchanging path

I’ve finally made it here.

If I turn left here, I’ll be in San Rafael.

I walk through a road that is starting to look like a city.

I’ve arrived at the entrance to the city.

I’m heading straight for the center.

And then I arrived at the center, Plaza San Martin.

On this motorcycle trip, it was a fun ride down the mountain until I turned onto Route 40.

From there, I mostly just went straight, which required a lot of power, so it wasn’t much fun, but I didn’t get bored during the roughly four-hour trip.

I’ll stay a while and then head further south.
