This motorcycle trip runs from the northern Chilean city of Tocopilla to Taltal.
The distance is approximately 420 km.
I’m leaving Tocopilla
I’ll be leaving the city soon.
I’ll head south along the coastal road.
After about an hour and 40 minutes, I arrived at the toll booth in Pampa.
The motorcycle cost $750, or about USD 0.77.
I left Tocopilla and arrived in Antofagasta in about two hours.
I refuel and drive through the streets of Antofagasta.
I left Antofagasta in about 30 minutes.
Then I drive through the wilderness
I’ve surpassed the heights
I’m heading down towards the sea.
I’m almost to Paposo.
I’m making the final push to Taltal
I left Tocopilla and about 5 hours later the town of Taltal came into view.
I’ve arrived at Taltal.
I’m heading straight for the city center.
And then I arrived at Taltal Square
My trip this time was a bit long, but it was well-balanced and not boring.
It was a very enjoyable trip.
