My motorcycle trip this time is from La Paz in Bolivia to Copacabana
It’s about 150km
I cross Lake Titicaca by boat at Tiquina on the way.
I left La Paz
The roads in La Paz are crowded at any time of the day.
There are too many minibuses and taxis here.
About 20 minutes after I left the new town, I finally got onto the highway heading towards El Alto.
The last time I passed by here I was going downhill, but this time I’m going uphill.
After about 10 minutes, I finally arrived in El Alto.
Here too, I have to deal with traffic jams.
The driving manners in Bolivia are very bad, so I need to drive safely.
An hour after I left La Paz, I finally made it through El Alto.
After that I’m good to go
I left El Alto and entered the tip area about an hour later.
I left La Paz and arrived in Tiquina about 2.5 hours later.
I bought a boat ticket at the building on the right ahead.
The motorbike costs Bs.25, about 3.64 USD.
I board a boat and head to the opposite shore.
I arrived at the other side in about 15 minutes.
I’m heading to Copacabana from here.
I arrived at the town of Copacabana in about 30 minutes.
Although the distance of my trip this time was short, the traffic jams in La Paz and El Alto and the boats in Tiquina were memorable.
The road from Tiquina to Copacabana was a mountain road, so it was a fun time.
