My motorcycle trip this time is from Uyuni to Oruro in Bolivia
It’s about 316km.
I left Uyuni
It’s about a 5 minute drive from Uyuni city to the downtown area.
It was windy that day, and sandstorms were rolling up everywhere.
Naturally, the motorbike couldn’t go very fast.
I passed Colchani in about 20 minutes.
After about two and a half hours, I arrived at the halfway point, Santiago de Huari.
After that, I continue to move forward in the strong wind.
I was in front of Oruro and construction was going on.
I proceed with caution
I left Uyuni and finally arrived in the city of Oruro about four and a half hours later.
The number of cars here makes me feel like I’m seeing a “city” for the first time in a long time.
My only impression of the journey this time was that it was windy.
It’s about 230km to La Paz, where I’m heading next.
Because this is high altitude, I can travel about 21km per liter, so I can reach La Paz with the remaining 20L.
However, I heard that it is even more difficult to obtain gasoline in La Paz because of its large population, so considering my next trip, I would like to refuel in Oruro, where I will be staying for a while.
