The tank capacity of the motorcycle body is 13.6L
It has an average fuel efficiency of about 18km per liter, so it can travel about 240km
Currently, I have three auxiliary tanks, 10L, 5L, and 5L, so it can travel about 600km
I have some concerns about the route on my next trip
About 460km from Jujuy in Argentina to Atacama in Chile

Approximately 440km from Atacama to Uyuni in Bolivia

Approximately 470km from Perito Moreno in southern Argentina to the relay point at El Chalten

I think Argentina will be fine, but I had a bad experience in Bolivia on my last trip, so I wanted to increase the maximum gas load as much as possible.

I’m thinking of upgrading the tanks attached next to the front wheels from 5L on each side to 10L on each side.

As expected, 10L is quite heavy, so I decided to have a metal support welded on.

This gives me peace of mind.
The cost is Gs.200,000, approx. USD 25

Now I can ride about 850km with a total of 48L, including the 13.6L on the motorcycle itself, two 10L tanks on each side, and one 10L and one 5L tank at the rear.
From now on, there is almost no chance that I will run out of gas on the way.
I also cut the side stand by about 3cm.

Now I can park in the right lane even with my luggage.
However, I need to be careful because motorcycles are in danger of falling over on roads that lean to the left.
