This time I will be traveling about 35km by motorcycle from Asuncion to Villa Hayes, the capital of Presidente Hayes Department.
It is located just across the Paraguay River.

I head north along Brazil Avenue, which is as crowded as ever.

It gets very crowded here in the mornings and evenings.
After about 10 minutes, I arrived at Gral. José Gervasio Artigas Avenue, the main street to the north.

I’m heading for the bridge from here.
About 15 minutes after I left, I could see the bridge.

The two lanes on the left are for Centro, so I stay to the right.
It’s the new Chaco Heroes Bridge.

There are no tolls for motorcycles here.
I’m heading north on the Ruta Transchaco.

All I have to do now is head north on this road.
I leave Asuncion and arrive in Villa Ayres in about 35 minutes.

I’m heading straight for Costanera.
The town doesn’t look very prosperous.

And then I arrived at the monument in front of the Presidente Hayes prefecture office.

This trip was short, so I enjoyed it without any stress.
If the road had been wider and better maintained, like around the bridge, I would have enjoyed it more.
