This time I’m heading from Artigas, Uruguay to Uruguayana, Brazil.
The distance is about 120km, which is relatively short.

I’ll start with the Artigas Obelisk.

I walked straight along Coronel Carlos Lecueder Avenue, the main street of Artigas, towards the Brazilian side and arrived at the border bridge.

Immigration procedures are carried out on the Brazilian side across the bridge, and I have written the procedure here.

I’ve finished the immigration formalities, so I’m leaving now.
Brazil is a place where roads seem to have been carved out of nature.

I arrived in Uruguaiana in about an hour and a half.

What I see on the right is the international bridge going from Brazil to Argentina.

Less than two hours after I left Artigas, I arrived at Barão do Rio Branco Square, the central square of Uruguay.

This was my first time entering Brazil by motorcycle, and the customs procedures in Brazil took the longest time I’ve ever experienced.
In Brazil, the procedures for imported goods are a bit strict, even for mail-order goods from abroad.
The road conditions in Brazil are not bad, but the asphalt had just been laid, but they left it open, so my motorcycle got covered in tar.
I have to buy a special cleaning agent.
