This time I’m heading from Fray Bentos to Mercedes, the capital of Soriano province.
The distance is about 36km, the shortest distance I’ve ever traveled between towns.
I’ll start in the center of Fray Bentos, near Artigas Square.
As soon as I leave the town of Fray Bentos, I’m in nature.
At the toll booth 5km before the Rio Negro, I was told that motorcycles could pass for free, so I continued to pass on the right side.
Apparently, in Uruguay, like Paraguay and Bolivia, motorcycles are free toll-free.

I crossed the Rio Negro and entered Soriano Department.
I left Fray Bentos and quickly arrived at Independence Square in the center of Mercedes, about 35 minutes later.
This time, the distance and time were short, so it was a very comfortable drive for me.
