This time I’m heading from Esquina to Rosario, the third most populous city in Argentina
The distance is about 440km
I’ll pass through the center of Santa Fe on the way.

I leave Esquina and head straight for Paraná on Route 12.

The road was clear.
We were heading from Paraná to Santa Fe, and had to pay a toll to go through the under-river tunnel.
*As of December 2024, a motorbike costs AR$2,000, or about 2 USD.

The inside of the tunnel is very bright, so I can proceed with confidence.

I came to Santa Fe for the first time in about half a year.
I’ve been in a lot of small towns recently, so this feels very urban.

I’m going to continue through Santa Fe and onto the Rosario Expressway.

Motorcycles also have to pay a toll on this highway

The toll in December 2024 is AR$1,600, about 1,6 USD
I paid it in two places
After I get off the highway, I go through some rough areas

This area is also not very safe.
As I leave Costanera and enter the center of Rosario, I see high-rise apartment buildings.

I arrived at the flag tower in about five hours.

Rosario has a lot of traffic, but the roads are wide, so I can drive safely.
The scenery doesn’t change on the highway, which is the majority of the trip, so I had to be patient.
