Last time I introduced how to cross by boat from Pilar in Paraguay to Colonia Cano in Argentina, so this time I’m going from Colonia Cano to Esquina in Corrientes.
The distance is about 490km.
I’ll pass through the center of Corrientes on the way.

First, I head to General Mansilla, 40km away from Colonia Cano.
The road is a straight one.

I arrived at General Mansilla in about 30 minutes.

I’m heading south from here
I’m just going down the same old road

I arrived at the entrance to Resistencia in about an hour and a half.
I will pass this and turn left this time.
I will cross the Parana River and head to Corrientes.

There is a toll booth just before the bridge.
Motorcycles are free toll.

I cross the General Belgrano Bridge
I can gradually see the beach and skyscrapers of Corrientes.

I arrived in the center of Corrientes

This time we pass Corrientes and head to Esquina
The Route 12 that I am on is a major north-south road on the east side of the Parana River, so there is a lot of traffic with large vehicles.

As I passed through Goya, a town north of Esquina, the roads suddenly became clear.

I’m going to keep speeding up and head out.
I’ll arrive in Esquina about 4 hours after I leave Corrientes.

It took me about 5 and a half hours from Colonia Cano, but it wasn’t a particularly boring journey.
The scenery, as well as the level of congestion along the way, greatly affect my impression of the city I’m driving through.
